WE ARE FOREIGNERS - I AM AFRAID
- NEVERTHELESS WE FOUND IT TO
BE EASILY UNDERSTANDABLE. WE
HAVE THREE KIDS; FOR US THE
PARENTS IT IS AN AMUSING ONE,
HOWEVER FOR OUR ELDER KINDS
(15 AND 13 YEARS OF AGE) IT IS
MODERN INCENTIVE FOR LOOKING
INTO THAT ISSUE AND FOR OUR
LITTLE BOY THREE YEARS OF AGE
IT IS A NICE PAINTING BOOK WITH
QUITE SOME EDUCATIVE
CHARACTER.

The book starts out in Genesis
explaining the creation of the first and
most important species on earth, Dogs.
Each page in the book represents an
important biblical event yet the lyrical
text of Mr. Tamiran kept me laughing
hard helping me remember the details
of each cleverly told story. The book
was masterfully crafted to provide rich
humor, as well as an educational
content, which has inspired me to read
more stories about the bible and of
course, dogs. No other book presents
such an honest, yet unique
perspective on the history of dogs
and of people. After reading the whole
book I just had to read it again and
again!. That is why I give this book my
highest recommendations.

BIBLE DOGS is available from the following internet bookstores:
|
--The Book Reader,
"Definitely not on your average list of books to
give as gifts...Very funny oversized
cartoon-and-text volume covering half of
the Old Testament, pointing out that
humans are not the chosen species...I will
make of you a great species, God promised,
and, lo, dogs have led mankind for thousands
of years.
...A seductive tale of romance,
conviction, risk and love - in other words, a
great tale of dogs. Gripping, funny,
indelible and warmly primitive".

--The Jewish Exponent
New Leash on Life
By : Michael Elkin
In dog years, David Tamiran's latest project is just a
pup. But in terms of canine chronology, there has
been no pause between Creation an contemporary
times when the dog hasn't dominated.
Which all leads to Bible Dogs: Famous Canines in
the Bible, Tamiran's tam of hysterical history
(www.bibledog.com).
The book's arc even poses the proposition that the
Great Flood was presided over by a canine
boat-builder named ' No ' not 'Noah' . Yes, Noah,
avers the author.
Is it any wonder that dogs played such important
biblical roles? Just look at history: One of the
greatest home-run hitters of all time:
'Babe Woof.'
Famous actress who rated a 1.43 (dog-year
equivalent of '10' ):
'Bone Derek'.
Inventor of the Italian language: 'A Chow '.
Back to the Bible: Tamiran's tampering with
history is littered with a reverence for
irreverence. His book was whelped
from another wow of an idea:
'"I was inspired by the first book that I did, 'Dogs
Are Human Too!', he said of his new leash on life
,"which had a short four-page chapter called 'Dogs
in the Bible' .
I thought it would be a great idea to expand that tiny
chapter into a full-size book (13 chapters). "
What a wag!

David certainly has presented a new twist on the
Old Testament.
....And it is silly enough that most children would
probably find it very funny. The fact that it can be
used as a coloring book also makes it appealing to
children.
